Experience That Informs Every Consultation
Kevin Randolph's courtroom experience spans decades of complex litigation and jury trials.
As a defense attorney, he tried seven capital felony cases to verdict, in addition to numerous murder cases and other serious felony matters. Five of those seven capital felony trials resulted in no conviction on the capital felony count, reflecting his extensive experience navigating some of the most challenging cases in the criminal justice system.
Following his work as a trial attorney, Kevin served as a Connecticut Superior Court Judge for nineteen years, presiding over and bringing multiple jury trials to verdict while overseeing a wide range of complex legal proceedings. His experience evaluating cases from the bench provides attorneys with practical insight into courtroom presentation, evidentiary issues, witness credibility, and overall trial strategy.
Among the most widely recognized proceedings over which he presided was State of Connecticut v. Michelle Troconis, a nationally televised jury trial available in its entirety through the Law & Crime Network. His experience managing high-profile litigation further informs the strategic guidance he provides to attorneys preparing for trial.
